Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Remote / Hybrid (US-based candidates only)  

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle PL/SQL Developer to join our team and deliver high-impact database solutions for enterprise clients across the United States. You will design, develop, optimize, and support robust Oracle-based applications in mission-critical environments (financial services, government, manufacturing, healthcare, etc.).

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and scripts.  
- Write and optimize high-performance SQL queries and PL/SQL code for large-scale data processing.  
- Perform database performance tuning (indexing, query optimization, execution plans, AWR/ASH analysis).  
- Participate in full SDLC: requirements gathering, technical design, development, code reviews, unit testing, and deployment.  
- Integrate Oracle databases with external systems via REST APIs, ORDS, web services, or ETL processes.  
- Develop and enhance user interfaces using Oracle APEX (strongly preferred) or similar low-code tools.  
- Support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) customizations, especially in financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, etc.) when applicable.  
- Collaborate with DBAs, application developers, business analysts, and QA teams.  
- Implement and follow best practices for version control (Git), CI/CD, documentation, and security.  
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide on-call support as needed.  

Required Qualifications  
- 7–10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.  
- Expert-level proficiency in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL (packages, collections, bulk processing, dynamic SQL, advanced error handling).  
- Strong experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL/PL/SQL in high-volume environments.  
- Solid understanding of Oracle database architecture (12c, 19c, 21c/23c preferred).  
- Experience developing web applications with Oracle APEX (pages, regions, reports, forms, dynamic actions, security).  
- Proficiency with RESTful services, ORDS, JSON handling, and API integrations.  
- Version control experience using Git (branching, pull requests, code reviews).  
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.  
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written) – ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.  

Highly Desirable (Big Plus)  
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) – especially financials, supply chain, or manufacturing modules.  
- Knowledge of Oracle ADF, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/jQuery (for APEX enhancements).  
- Familiarity with ETL tools, data warehousing, or tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, PL/SQL Developer.  
- Oracle certifications (OCP, OCA, APEX specialist).  
- Exposure to cloud environments (Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS for Oracle, Azure).  

Mandatory Requirements (No Exceptions)  
- Must be currently residing in the United States.  
- Must be a US Citizen or hold a valid Green Card (permanent resident). No sponsorship available (no H-1B, OPT, TN, etc.).  
- Professional-level English (written and spoken).  
- Verifiable professional experience matching the role (references and recent projects will be checked).
